Wedding Planner...

so, b/c i can't think of any topics right now, we'll go to what is one of the easier topics in my life... planning the wedding. i must say that i actually really, really enjoy this planning stuff and that my life as an env. consultant (in terms of project management) has really come in handy. i know that when you are dealing w/ vendors they prioritize you based on how much time it is until your wedding... that's why they are probably annoyed w/ me for trying to get everything done as much as possible up front, but hey, i don't want to be stressed! it's either stressed kendra 3 months before the wedding, or laid-back kendra now...i'm choosing the latter. :) (and i'm sure they would too, if they were ever aquainted w/ the first type of kendra). but anyways, everything has gone pretty smoothly...the hiccup thus far has been the fact that my first videographer refuses to return anyone's phone calls (other brides and wedding coordinators too!), so she still has my $500 deposit which i would like back (if you are reading this kathleen! i want my money back!!). now i'm just hoping that the bridesmaid dresses get shipped to everyone in time so that they aren't rushed to have them altered.

i'm ready for it to be here! :) one of my good friends put it in perspective, when i was worried about the cost of the videographer. she said, "this is the last time that you and chuck will have all of your closest friends and family and coworkers all in the same place, just for you...until your funeral, so do it right". isn't that sad that it's the truth? so, i'm making extra sure that i get it all documented so i can enjoy it over and over afterwards. :) well, enough about the wedding...i just thought i'd share some of the tidbits with you. next topic: bikram yoga (my new obsession)
