After some pressure...

Well, after some pressure from a certain someone (Tiffany) I am going to post a blog today. Don't know what about, but I'm going to post one. Following Tiff's format, I'm going to have some different topics... I'm sure they'll come to me as I sit here. :)
1. Corona-ritas: a margarita-like drink made w/ Corona. Here is the real recipe:
12 oz. limeade; 12 oz. tequila; 12 oz. bottle of Corona Light; 1 12 oz. can of Diet Sprite. So i got this from a friend and she calls them Diet Margaritas b/c they are suppose to be a lot less calories b/c there's basically no sugar like what you get from the sweet/sour mix. I decided that I liked the "Corona-ritas" name better, because, well, I didn't know they were suppose to be anything except another way to make a margarita. I love these things so i decided that I'd make some for the gals at the pool after the bridal shower on Saturday. Here's the funny part. I couldn't quite remember the recipe so i made it like I remembered, and then thought something was missing, so added 2 more beers. About an hour later and people getting loopy off of these things, I got a text from my friend and i had forgotten to add the Sprite. Soooo...if anyone had a serious hangover after last Saturday night, I may have contributed to it a tiny bit. Sorry about that. :)
2. My cuz Tiff and bf Melissa threw me a bridal shower last Saturday and it was awesome. I am not a huge fan of being the center of attention, but they knew to have a glass of wine near me and all was well. :) Of course, a special shout out to Crate and Barrel for putting 25 extra yards of wrapping paper on each piece so that I started sweating after the 3rd present from them. :) Thanks to everyone for coming and for T & M for making me feel special. :) Tiff - you would like these Corona-ritas...just remember the Sprite. :)
3. Wedding Up-dates: Turns out the lady who drove me crazy at the bridal salon and got all of our dress orders mixed up, is bi-polar. Yeah, I feel really really bad now...b/c i didn't really have much nice to say about her. I wish they would've told me this in the beginning and it all would've been much better for everyone involved. I'll tell them that after I get my dress and the b-maids get theirs. :) Should be arriving mid-July I believe. :) I'm excited to put it on...i've had to resort to walking around w/ the veil on when Chuck isn't home. Max runs from me...not sure what that's about. I guess he doesn't like my veil.
4. Max has been staying w/ our friends the past weekend and the next 4 weekends... thank goodness they love him like we do. I found out that not only does he like swimming, but now he is actually jumping off the edge of the pool and diving DOWN to the bottom. My little swimmer!
5. I may have a new job in a few weeks. I'll keep you posted on that in the future...don't want to jinx myself! :)

Okay, i think 5 topics is good! :) I need to get my pics off my camera and then i'll have more posts! :)
